Town Guards: ( 08 April 2016)
Although there are many aspects to building in Neos, be it building your own house or building a town, today we will be focusing on what it will mean to have guards for your town. As a group of players upgrade their town status and build military buildings they will open up the ability to train different types of guards. The first guard type they can train is a Basic City Guard. These require the town to have a Barracks and a Guard Post built. Players that are in charge of the town can then control where they want to spawn the guards they hire to patrol the town streets. Town guards are mostly used for patrolling town areas and making sure no one is committing crimes such as breaking into others houses or stealing from others.
The next type of guard you can hire is an Archer Guard. These are used more for protection from outside attacks from rival towns or players. They usually get placed on Guard towers and walls. To Train archers your town will require an Archery building.
The last type of guard you can train is Knight Guards. They are your infantry group and can be sent into battle against other towns. They can also be used around your town to safe guard it from out of town players killing the town’s people.
Thanks to these multiple guard types discussed here you should no longer have to worry about keeping your town and property safe from others.
Travelling in Neo's: ( 11 March 2016)
In Neo’s, there are many different travelling options for players to utilize. As different resources are located on different Islands, trading and travelling between these Islands is a necessity. Because weight plays a major role on your character, it will dictate which way you move goods through the lands. As a player, you can only carry so much. To transport large items, you will need the help of a cart or a pack animal such as a ox or donkey.
Islands: Cedar Rock Island ( 4 March 2016)
Cedar Rock Island is one of the first islands that was explored when travelers passed though the portal. It is one of the more friendlier islands with low level creatures roaming around. The main attraction to this island is its resources namely Green Cedar and Dark Needle wood. These Tier 1 wood resources are mostly used to build low level walls and items which makes Cedar Rock Island a great place for new travelers to settle and thrive.
